Step 1: All-on-X consultation & Digital Evaluation
Your first visit is all about information and planning. Dr. Bandeff will take the time to learn about your goals and review your dental history. Using advanced digital tools — including a 3D CBCT scan, the Shining 3D scanner, and Medit Face Scan — we capture a complete picture of your mouth and facial structure.
This digital approach helps us spot infection, failing dental work, or bone loss early, so we can design a treatment plan that fits you perfectly.
Step 2: Digital Planning
Everything we do is digital and done right here in our office. Dr. Bandeff combines the 3D scans and photogrammetry data to plan exactly where each implant should go and to design your temporary teeth. Because we print and design everything in-house, we don’t have to wait on an outside lab — we can make adjustments and fine-tune the look of your smile immediately.
Step 3: Surgery Day – Extractions, Grafting & Implants
Most patients have everything completed in one day. Dr. Bandeff removes any infected or failing teeth, performs bone grafting if needed, and places the implants (we can do one arch at a time or both together) — all during a single visit.
We use oral sedation, so you will be able to walk in and out of the office, but will be in a “twilight” state where you likely will not remember the procedure, but will be able to talk to us throughout the surgery. Yes, you will need someone to pick you up after we are finished. Surgery ranges from about 3-5 hours depending on the case.
You’ll leave with a beautiful temporary smile (either the same day or the next day, depending on the timeline). This temporary bridge looks great and lets you eat soft foods while you heal.
Step 4: Healing & Integration
Over the next few months, your implants bond with your jawbone in a process called osseointegration. You’ll come in for a few short checkups so Dr. Bandeff can make sure everything is healing exactly as planned.
Step 5: Final Teeth
When the implants are fully healed, we scan again to design your permanent bridge. This final set of teeth is milled and finished in-house for a perfect fit, natural look, and long-term durability.

Step 6: All-on-X Maintenance
